Daniel "Dan" Finkel has been a member of Savage & Associates since 1999. His practice revolves around investments and retirement plans as well as health, life and disability insurance, estate planning, employee benefits, and long term care. His skills have earned him a diverse client base from individuals to national companies.

Education

Dan graduated from Miami University with a bachelor of science in business. His minor was Logic and Reasoning under the philosophy department. He has a Series 7 securities license, and is a registered investment advisor with Walnut Street Securities. Dan received his Life Underwriters Traning Council Fellowship from the American College in 2006. He has completed several courses under the Certified Financial Planner course with the American College including financial planning, process and environment, income taxation, planning for retirement needs, and fundamentals of insurance planning.

Personal

When Dan is not working to help people with their insurance and investment needs he enjoys Aikido, riding his Kawasaki ZRX1100 (yes, with a helmet). Dan works every year to help raise money for Feed Lucas County Children and participates in charity 5K runs as often as he can. Dan is the technical director for the auditorium at Ottawa Hills High School and the treasurer for the Village Players Theater. Dan has been seen around the office occasionally wearing a freestyle bowtie and will tell you that if you can tie your own shoes you can tie a bowtie with a little practice.
